Colonization and slavery attempted to strip us of our names and narratives, but they could not destroy our essence.

The divisions among us; African versus African American, Caribbean versus Continental, tribe versus tribe, shade versus shade were not born naturally. They were taught, enforced, and weaponized. Division made exploration easier. Disunity weakened our collective voice.

But what was taught can be untaught. Unity is a conscious decision to reject inherited divisions and embrace shared purpose. When we choose unity, we dismantle the very systems that were designed to keep us fragmented.
